Infosys’ Avi Kulshrestha and NTCA’s Shirley Bloomfield to share their insights on building ecosystems of value

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) today announced that Infosys senior vice president and industry head Avi Kulshrestha and NTCA CEO Shirley Bloomfield will deliver keynote presentations at Calix ConneXions 2018.

Avi Kulshrestha heads the business for Communications, Media, Entertainment in Europe and OEMs globally for Infosys. Infosys is developing and delivering new software modules for the AXOS ecosystem. With these new capabilities, service providers can reduce the cost of operating their networks, improve network intelligence and deliver improved subscriber experiences. As a core member of the Calix AXOS ecosystem, Avi will share his insights on taking a software defined networking approach to the access network. As the CEO of NTCA (The Rural Broadband Association), Shirley Bloomfield is active in driving strategic partnerships among rural telecom companies, their larger counterparts, other rural utilities, and federal agencies. She will share best practices around identifying and expanding business ecosystems to better engage unserved and underserved communities.
